The real estate sector in Kenya has over the past few years expanded to become the fourth biggest contributor to the country’s wealth. This is according to a review of national data that is expected to propel the East Africa’s biggest economy to middle-income status shows. The national accounts shows that real estate has become one of the biggest contributor to the countrys gross domestic product ( GDP) which has more than doubled to 10.6% from 4.9%.
